Ever since Jesus came to earth, many people have said good things about him. (His enemies have said bad things of course, but that is their problem, not his!)
But just think of Jesus for a moment. He had no money, and no weapons, yet he has conquered the hearts of millions. He has more followers than Alexander the Great, and more than all the Caesars, and other rulers and kings including Napoleon ever had.
Jesus never had a science degree yet what he said is still the best and the wisest comments on what he spoke about. He never went to a speaking school yet he spoke perfectly – he never corrected himself, or made a slip. He never had to go back on something and update it.
He never wrote a book, yet the Book about him has been the world’s number one best seller since it was written. And he himself has been the subject of millions of books, sermons, lectures, and so on.
He never wrote a song, yet people have been singing songs about him for 2000 years. Some of the world’s greatest music has come from his followers.
The influence of Jesus on this world has been so amazingly out of proportion with his talents and appearance it must be a miracle! And even today the numbers of people who are becoming Christians is growing – one estimate put it at about 60-70,000 per day. (Including about 10,000 every day in China)
