These cartoons somehow elude me on a basic level. I have no idea what this kid is trying to tell me. I mean, I get it, he doesn't want to be aborted. But leaving aside the question of whether or not fetuses are sentient, why is he even worried about being aborted in the first-place? I mean, he's more fully-formed than any newborn child I've ever seen, and I've never heard of somebody attempting an abortion that extremely late in a pregnancy. Really, he should look more like...this? http://img.webmd.com/dtmcms/live/webmd/consumer_assets/site_images/articles/health_tools/fetal_development_slideshow/getty_rm_photo_of_4_week_fetus.jpg Except I guess portraying a fetus that looked more than an actual fetus and less like an adorable version of Stewie Griffin wouldn't make the same statement. I hear it's harder to elicit emotional responses from tiny bundles of cells and tissue than from an improbably self-aware womb mutant.

At what stage is it wrong to abort? Some say a few weeks, others say many... but at all stages after conception there is a unique, individual human being on the way. If abortion was carried to its logical end, babies would be killed soon after birth, maybe a year after. As soon as an unborn child is LEGALLY expendable, there is really no limit to how far the LEGAL destruction of human life can go. Just as in Hitler's day, it is legal to kill these children, but legal is not the same as MORAL.
